Dying to Divorce
In 2015, Fuller Project for International Reporting founder, Christina Asquith published an article in The New York Times exposing loopholes in domestic violence sentencing in Turkey.
In 2016, the team will release a feature length film on the brave women fighting to close these loopholes and reduce the skyrocketing rates of violence against women.
Dying to Divorce represents a global partnership between BBC-trained director Chloe Fairweather, Tigerlily Films in London and producer Sinead Kirwan in Berlin. The Fuller Project for International Reporting serves as executive producers on the project, providing reporting from across Turkey.
