Lawrence Ingrassia has worked as a senior editor at several newspapers. Reporters he has overseen have won five Pulitzer Prizes as well as Gerald Loeb Awards and George Polk Awards. At the New York Times, where Ingrassia worked for more than a decade, he was a deputy managing editor and its Business and Economics editor. Before that, he spent 25 years at the Wall Street Journal in a number of roles, as a reporter, as bureau chief in London and Boston, and as an assistant managing editor. Most recently, he served as a managing editor of the Los Angeles Times. He lives in Los Angeles.
