Elaina Di Monaco (they/them) is a nonprofit media professional specializing in development, engagement, and collaborative initiatives that advance equitable journalism and maximize community impact. They are committed to fostering ethical, people-centered storytelling and promoting intentional wealth redistribution to support journalism that serves and reflects diverse communities. Elaina’s experience includes roles with the Center for Public Integrity, Billy Penn, WHYY, and SciLine, where they have contributed to mission-driven journalism and community-focused projects.
In addition to their work in media, Elaina has a background in arts management, live event production, theatre direction, and dramaturgy. A dedicated storyteller and relationship-builder, they emphasize trust, transparency, and ethical leadership in all facets of their work. Elaina is driven by a deep commitment to anti-racism, LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive justice, accountability, and collective liberation.
